What is behind the wall matters more than the suite
Most of the difficulty in a bathroom fit is not the suite — it is the pipework serving it. East London housing stock varies enormously and each type brings its own problem. In Victorian and inter-war terraces we still meet lead on the incoming supply and galvanised steel that has silted up internally until the pressure upstairs is poor, so a new shower fitted onto it will disappoint whatever you spent on the valve. In flats, supply often comes off a shared riser and waste runs into a stack used by every flat in the column, which limits where a WC or bath can realistically go. And rear-extension waste runs added at some point with too little fall will keep blocking regardless of what is fitted above them. Moving a bath, basin or WC
Changing the layout is the part people underestimate. A basin or bath can usually be moved a reasonable distance because the waste is small and easier to run with fall. A WC is the constraint — it needs a short, well-falling run to the soil stack, so moving one across a room often means either building up the floor or accepting the original position. Rather than discovering that halfway through, we tell you at quotation stage what the new layout will need in practice, so you can decide whether the change is worth the work it involves.

We can. We work with brand suppliers and can arrange the suite for you, or fit a suite you have bought yourself — whichever suits you better.
How long does a bathroom installation take?
It depends on the scope — a straight swap is far quicker than a full refit with pipework moved. We give you a realistic timescale with your free quotation, before any work starts.
Will you give me a fixed price first?

Can you just replace the shower or bath instead of the whole bathroom?
Of course. No job is too small — we are just as happy replacing a single shower or bath as installing a complete suite.
My shower pressure is poor — will a new shower fix it?
Not on its own if the restriction is on the incoming supply. In older properties lead or galvanised pipe that has narrowed internally over decades is a common cause, and a new valve fitted onto it will perform no better. We can test the pressure and confirm whether the restriction is on the supply or inside the property before you spend anything on a shower.
Can you move the toilet to the other side of the bathroom?
Sometimes, but it is the most constrained item in the room. A WC needs a short waste run with enough fall to the soil stack, so moving one often means building up the floor or boxing in a longer run. We will tell you at quotation stage what your layout would actually need rather than finding out part-way through.
I live in a flat — does that limit what you can fit?
It can affect the layout. In flats the supply frequently comes off a shared riser and the waste runs into a stack used by every flat in the column, which limits how far fittings can be moved from their existing positions. We check this before quoting so the design you agree is one that can actually be built.
